Registration
Do I need to pay a deposit to complete a registration?
We understand that a deposit can be an inconvenience, but it is a necessary step in making sure every customer has a smooth and enjoyable experience. We require a $20 per person deposit to minimize last-minute cancellations and no-shows, which we have unfortunately had to deal with in the past.
Please think of the deposit as a partial commitment to your reservation. It is non-refundable, and it lets us manage our resources and give the best service to all of our customers. Rest assured, your deposit is applied to your total bill when you complete your reservation.

Can I do both hand-building and wheel throwing in a one-day class or birthday party?
Because of limited time (90 minutes per session) and studio resources, each student chooses either hand-building or wheel throwing. Students in our multi-session classes have enough time to practice both.
Pickup
When can I pick up my pieces?
We know it matters to take your finished pottery home as soon as possible, so we keep the glazing and firing process as efficient as we can.
The glazing and firing process takes approximately three weeks. We take great care at every step so that your pieces come out at the highest quality, and we appreciate your patience.
Please call us to schedule a pickup time at least 24 hours in advance, so your pieces are ready for you on the date and time you choose.
Pieces left unclaimed for two months after class completion are considered abandoned and are discarded to make room for new work.
What happens to pieces with cracks?
Cracks are not uncommon while ceramics dry, for example because of air bubbles trapped inside the clay. A cracked piece can explode in the kiln, damaging other pieces and compromising the whole firing, so cracked pieces have to be left out of the firing.
Payments
Which payment methods are available for the deposit?
We currently accept deposits by Venmo and Zelle.
Can I pay tuition with a gift card?
Yes. Gift cards can be bought in the studio, or ordered by phone or text at 404-717-4518, by Instagram DM to @moonhee.ceramic_studio, or by email at moonheeceramics@gmail.com. They are valid for one year from the purchase date.
Miscellaneous
What are the studio hours?
The studio is open from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM, and closed on Sundays and Mondays.
